Sulfur and air are incinerated to generate SO2 gas.

The SO2 gas reacts with a certain concentration of soda ash to generate sodium bisulfite.

Sodium bisulfite and caustic soda are neutralized to obtain #sodiumsulfite solution.

After concentration and centrifugation, a wet solid of #sodiumsulfite is obtained and dried. Then get the finished sodium sulfite

S+O2=SO2

SO2 + Na2CO3+H20= NaHSO3

NaHSO3+NaOH= Na2SO3 +H20
